Jagdeep Singal (Chairman) : Highly qualified and 53 years of age. In family business since 1981 and an able Administrator. Presently looks after Manufacturing, Exports and Imports activities of Eastman Impex group of companies since 1996. Very sociable with pleasing personality. Takes keen interest in the timely implementation of the welfare policies framed by the Board of Trustees.
Vinay Singal (Managing Trustee) : After graduation joined family business in 1983. Very experienced and well-verse in Export Import and Foreign Exchange Regulations. He looks after the Real Estate business since 2004. Very humble with soft corner for the subordinates and Compassion for the needy. Considers education and good health as key to alround progress and prosperity of the under-privileged.
Pardeep Aggarwal (Trustee) : An energetic and adventurous youngman. Believes in honesty and hard work. He is into Real Estate business and achieved a remarkable growth in just 10 years. Very generous and contributes liberally towards schemes aimed at welfare of the have-nots to this Trust.
K.S. Soin (Trustee) : A specialist in the field of Radiodignosis and trained at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune; AIIMS, New Delhi and King George’s Medical College, Lucknow. Has been in the faculty of CMC, Ldh.; Head of Mohan Dai Hospital and a visiting faculty at Uppsala University, Sweden. At present running his own Rediodignosis practice at Ludhiana. He is brain behind organizing free Medical Camps, Blood Donation Camps and Breast Cancer Diagnosis Camps. Takes care of health problems of the students adopted by the Trust even at the cost of his own lucrative practice. His contribution and suggestions for framing policies and their smooth and hassel-free implementation are praise worthy.
Amrita Gakhar (Trustee) : A Highly educated. B.Sc. (Medical), M.A. (English), Gold Medalist in languagist, three times Best Teacher award winner in 40 years of teaching tenure as Lecturer, HOD and Vice Principal in KVM followed by 5 years as Principal, Tagore Sen. Sec. School and lastly 2 years as Academic Advisor in Springdale Sr. Sec. Convent School. One of the best Anchors of Social and Educational Functions. Thanks to her able guidance coupled with her oratorical skills and keen interest in counselling of students this Trust has succeeded in making a name for itself in the field of providing free education and other connected amenities to the deserving poor students.
Rajeev Singal (Trustee) : On successful completion of studies joined the family business in 1991. Excels in Manufacturing activities. Takes keen interest in modernization and upgradation of present day technologies. Under his stewardship, one family unit named “JVR Forgings Ltd.” grew leaps and bounds in just 10 years despite global slow-down and highly competitive world. Keeps a close watch on speedy implementation of welfare programmes of the Trust.
Gaurav Singal (Trustee) : Immediately after completing post-graduation in Commerce took charge of constructing and commissioning a new family casting unit named “Eastman Mettcast Ltd.” (formerly Magma Mettcast Ltd.) in 2009 at a very young age of just 25. Braving all odds, procedural wragglings and stiff competition from domestic as well as global players has succeeded in putting the unit on rails and on the path of rapid growth.Exceptionally intelligent, decisive, promising and well-behaved. Takes keen interest in the activities of the Trust and puts forth valuable suggestions in the Meetings of the Board of Trustees. Thanks to his interest & suggestions, the Trust is progressing with each passing day.
Kalpana Singal : A very kind-hearted, compassionate, God-fearing, pious and a noble lady. Braving the loss of her only son, Mr. Nikhil Singal of just 20 years (10.01.1987 to 18.05.2007) she resolutely determined to reach out to the poorest of the poor and nurture their wards by providing free education, clothing, medical attention and other facilities to make them self-reliant and respectable citizens of India. It was at her sole behest and initiative that this Trust came into being in 2008, started “EK UMEED” in the Civil Hospital precincts for supply of free medicines to all indoor patients and is carrying on various schemes for the welfare and upliftment of the have-nots. It is not far off when her dream of seeing brighter future of hundreds and hundreds of those helpless children come true. She is missionarily devoted and dedicated to mitigate sufferings like illiteracy, disease & hunger of the under-privileged through allout efforts of the Trust.
